MALAYBALAY CITY (MindaNews / January 9) – The city council here has approved P433 million for this year's budget of the city government, including adjustments for City Hall reorganization.

MALAYBALAY CITY (MindaNews/19 Nov) – Six new cities in Mindanao will have to revert to being municipalities after the Supreme Court voted 7-5 to void their cityhood status for failing to comply with the requirements of the law.

COTABATO CITY (MindaNews/19 November) -- The August 11 computerized election in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao has “emancipated ARMM from being touted as the ‘cheating capital of the country,’” ARMM governor Datu Zaldy Ampatuan said.

COTABATO CITY (MindaNews/18 November) -- The governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) did not specifically call for a ceasefire in his State of the Region Address (SORA) Monday afternoon but called on both the government and Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) to "return to the negotiating table for the sake of our long-suffering people and our children."

COTABATO CITY (MindaNews/18 Nov) -- Governor Datu Zaldy Ampatuan has vowed, among others, to establish “commercial centers and hotels” in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) as "venues for our foreign visitors, for our big events-conferences, meetings and other important occasions."
