Aldeguer: no changes for Gaisano incentives

MALAYBALAY CITY (MindaNews/29 March) – “There would likely be no amendments to the incentives ordinance” that gave Gaisano and Sons, Inc. and the companies intending to rent its mall-under construction, favorable benefits, Councilor Victor Aldeguer, chair of the  committee on commerce, trade, and industry, said.

DAVAO CITY  (MindaNews/08 March) – March 9 and 18 are holidays in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).

March 9 is the Maulidid Un-Nabi or birthday of the Prophet Mohammad and is a holiday under Presidential Decree 1083 while March 18, the anniversary of the 1968 Jabidah Massacre and the reckoning date of the founding of the Moro National Liberation Front, is “Bangsamoro Freedom Day” and a holiday under  Muslim Mindanao Act No. 17.

MALAYBALAY CITY (MindaNews/25 Dec) – Construction firms dealing with government-funded infrastructure projects in Bukidnon will find stricter rules in 2009.

The provincial government is imposing stricter rules for local infrastructure projects in the province, requiring all interested contractors to seek accreditation with the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP or provincial board), according to a new ordinance approved on December 10.
