74 broadcasters take KBP exams in Bukidnon

MALAYBALAY CITY (MindaNews/08 March) – Seventy-four broadcasters took the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas accreditation examinations on March 5 at the Central Mindanao University Farmers' Convention Center in Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon, Nonita Rosales, KBP Bukidnon chapter president, said.

DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/08 February) - The National Union of Journalists of the Philippines in a statement today said it is taking the threats directed against the chair of our Kidapawan City chapter, Malu Cadelina Manar, and “demand that authorities not only ensure her protection but launch an immediate investigation to arrest and prosecute those responsible.”

DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/18 January) --  Relatives of  the media victims in the November 23 Ampatuan Massacre will troop to the Office of the Deputy Ombdusman for Mindanao at 1 p.m. Tuesday to file an administrative complaint against Major General Alfredo Cayton, the 6th Infantry Division commander who was relieved from his post days later and recently promoted to Army vice commander.

KIDAPAWAN CITY  (MindaNews/02 January) -- The Oblate Media Center of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI), one of the pioneering missionaries in Mindanao, will be inaugurated at the partially-renovated building of radio stations DXMS-AM and DXOL-FM of the Notre Dame Broadcasting Corporation, at the corner of Sinsuat and Quezon Avenues in Cotabato City. 
 
Ampatuan Massacre: 57 bodies recovered

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (MindaNews/25 Nov) – Eleven more bodies and three more vehicles were dug up Wednesday, bringing to 57 the number of bodies recovered at the massacre site in Ampatuan town in Maguindanao province.
