DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/10 November) -- Hello. My name is Sage Danielle Tan Ilagan from Grade Six Claver. I am given a chance to say a short speech here because I have expressed a love for reading and writing. First, I’d like to speak of our theme today: ‘Kaayaayang Magbasa sa Kalikasang kay Ganda’, or, in English, ‘It is a pleasure to read in a beautiful environment.’ Have you ever tried reading outside when the weather is nice, the sun is out and the wind is blowing? I have. And I can say that it is a wonderful experience indeed.

KIDS SHOULD HAVE FUN, NOT HIDING FROM BOMBS AND GUNS!”

MANILA (MindaNews/21 September) -- I grew up in Mindanao where majority of the 3.9 to 7 million Muslims in the country live. Still, Islam remains to be the least understood religion in the world, even in Mindanao.
