DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/09 February) – The panel of investigating prosecutors has filed an amended information recommending the indictment of 197 persons, 28 of them surnamed Ampatuan, for the Nov. 23, 2009 massacre. Sixty two policemen and four Army sergeants were also implicated in the carnage of at least 58 persons, 32 of them journalists, according to the 78-page document filed today before the Regional Trial Court Branch 221 in Quezon City, under Judge Josephine Reyes-Solis. |

But their wives and a daughter are running, records from the Commission on Elections show. |
