Justice Secretary Leila De Lima, in refusing to actively pursue cases against members of the Liberal Party identified to have had dealings with Ms. Janet Lim- Napoles, is committing grave injustice and displaying clearly the Aquino government’s 2016 agenda.
“Lahat ng sangkot, dapat managot! Malaking inhustisya ito sa mamamayang niloko at ninakawan. This shameless selectivity screams what many have known all along—that Aquino’s anti-corruption campaign is a sham and that the slogan ‘walang mahirap kung walang corrupt’ is but an empty election catchphrase. Aquino’s Tuwid na Daan is headed nowhere.”
The Gabriela solon urged Secretary De Lima to immediately prosecute and file the third batch of charges against those who have been accused of using public funds through fake non-government organizations created by Napoles as well as those linked to the Malampaya fund scam.
