The story tackles efforts among Moro youth groups to advocate for a moderate interpretation of Islam to prevent a shift to radicalism. It covers the provinces of Maguindanao and Lanao del Sur where there is an observed tendency among the young people to follow in the footsteps of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. For this material, the interviewees included Engr. Zubair Guiaman, chair of United Moro Youth Organization; Jessy Vincent Guinto aka Abu Aisha, a former police officer assigned in Antipolo, Rizal province, a suspected Maute group member; National Youth Commission chair Aiza Seguerra; and Nadza Sabpa, a resident of Mamasapano, Maguindanao.
