Mindanao and friends by the Gallery Down South

It is through our interaction with each other, near and far, that we gain momentum to push whatever it is we are on.

This is the very reason MindanaoArt came to be. Not just to gather the artists of Mindanao and provide a venue to showcase their works, but most of all, to mingle and interact with, and learn from those in the art industry who already have a vast experience in navigating this sector that Mindanaoan artists have not tapped to its full potentials.

Convergence is an exhibit of MindanaoArt Fair organizer Rey Mudjahid “Kublai” P. Millan and his friends who are joining the fair as resource persons, to showcase how diverse these artists are and yet they come together for a common cause and aspiration.

This is at the very root of MindanaoArt, where diversity is respected but is raised to a higher vibration – the vibration that emanates from the heart.

Gallery Down South is the latest undertaking of artist Rey Mudjahid “Kublai” P. Millan at his home in Ma-a, Davao City.

It is a gallery in the making and will not just have a permanent exhibit of his journey, but will also be featuring artists he has taken under his wing to push them to the level he has reached, where each artist becomes capable of thriving on his own, and in the process, help other artists as well.

Gallery Down South is about mentoring talents in the spirit of nurturing generations of well-grounded artists with a heart for the community.
