Biggest construction expo in Mindanao on July 1 to 3

DAVAO CITY  (MindaNews/27 June) — Local constructors and real estate developers no longer need to travel to Manila to see for themselves the latest equipment and technology used in their trade as the Philippine Constructors Association, Inc. (PCA) is set to bring them here next week for the biggest construction equipment and building materials exposition in Mindanao.

In a news conference, PCA president Levy Espiritu said the expo, to be held at the convention hall of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas here on July 1-3 will be a showcase of the latest in the construction industry.

“What have been regularly shown in the series of exposition in Manila will be brought here in Mindanao and it will made available to the stakeholders in Mindanao,” Espiritu said.

“All of us  start small, and we have realized that for companies to be able to compete, technological innovation is the key,” he said.

Embracing technology, he added, does not mean spending too much. “Constructors don’t have to go to Manila to learn new technologies. Instead, we are bringing them to you.”
