Glazed Pottery

GLAZED POTTERY. Mr. Garry Graham, a Canadian trainor shows to visiting Davao travel agents and tour operators the process of glazing, one of the steps to produce handcrafted, glazed pots at the Kerajinan Keramik Pulutan Pottery Training Center in Minahasa town, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The center, through the Private Enterprise Participation (PEP) Project supported by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), trains small Pulutan potters in Minahasa on how to produce glazed pots using the international standards of stoneware pottery. The visit of Davao travel agents and tour operators is part of a week-longfamiliarization tour designed to enhance tourism ties between Mindanao and Indonesia within  the East ASEAN Growth Area (EAGA).
