Cueva said the national government has allotted 500 scholarship slots for South Cotabato, the first beneficiary in Region 12 or Southwestern Mindanao.
He said at least 100 slots were provided for the province this year.

Cueva said the minimum requirement for the prospective scholars is that they must be high school graduates and must pass the English language pre-assessment administered by TESDA assessors or by call center companies.
