The exhibit is being organized by the BIMP-EAGA Business Council (BEBC) with support from the GTZ, the German Technical Cooperation.
The exhibit is a side event to the ongoing Senior Officials’ Meeting, the November 9 Governors’ Forum and the EAGA Ministers’ Meeting on November 10.
The exhibit is intended to showcase the member-countries’ promotion of the potentials of the growth area and its products and services, including trade and investment opportunities
BIMP-EAGA, set up in 1994, comprises Brunei, East Indonesia, East Malaysia and Mindanao and Palawan in the Philippines.
During the Governors’ Forum, the BEBC is expected to present a status report on its development programs, projects and initiatives focusing on its role in “advance public-private sector partnerships in the BIMP-EAGA.”
