Col. Pedro Soria, chief of the Army’s 602nd Infantry Brigade, identified the suspected bombers they arrested during the raid as Thaos Alimpain and Nasser Mindo, reportedly MILF leaders operating in Midsayap.
Seized were a garand rifle, a caliber .38 revolver, and a 105 mm howitzer round, three radio handsets and two mobile phones, Soria said.
The raid at 5:30 a.m. was done by elements of the 40th Infantry Battalion and from the 602nd and 603rd Infantry Brigades.
MILF peace panel chair Mohagher Iqbal said they are still looking into the report. (Malu Manar/MindaNews)
