Piñol made the appeal in last week’s annual membership meeting of Cotelco attended by 5,000 member-consumers of Cotelco held in Matalam town.
He stressed that the plan to energize the remote barangays of this city and thus brighten up the homes in the villages has long been a dream for residents of these areas.
“I believe that this is not a difficult task for Cotelco to do. What is needed is the willpower to put this dreams into reality,” Piñol said.
The neophyte solon also suggested for the immediate rehabilitation of the worn-out electrical posts and lines in Cotelco’s areas of coverage.
Piñol said, too, that complaints of member-consumers regarding the damage to their electrical appliances due to sudden power interruption should also be properly addressed.
“Cotelco being the sole electric cooperative in most towns of the 2nd congressional district of North Cotabato should addresses these quagmires in order to avoid the ire of power consumers,” he said.
He also urged Cotelco’s members to come up with suggestions and recommendations related to the services offered by Cotelco. He said now is the “right time” to voice out consumers’ bad experiences
“I believe that Cotelco, without hesitation, will listen to our suggestions and recommendations as part of their commitment for better services,” Piñol stressed.
