Some 500 college students, teachers and members of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) participated in the said activity.
Task Force North Cotabato chief Lt. Col. Manuel Delgay Jr. said that ROTC cadets and students are a big help to their campaign against any form of terrorism in the province.
Delgay added they also wanted residents of the province to have sufficient knowledge in identifying various kinds of improvised explosive devices.
The participants were also taught what to do in case they find an explosive.
“We are doing this to educate our constituents to avoid any form of terrorism to happen again in our province,” Delgay said.
The military official said they will conduct the same activity for other sectors including tricycle and jeepney operators and drivers as part of their job to prevent terrorism.
