But measures have been undertaken to address the concern on power supply. The two toppled towers affected the Agus II Kibawe , Bukidnon 138 kv line. The military has yet give a go signal as to when the maintenance crew will be allowed to proceed to the area for repair. Meanwhile, Lanao del Norte Rep. Abdullah D. Dimaporo of the second district helped oganize a Crisis Management Committee within the provincial government during the Peace and Order Council meeting Sunday.
Dimaporo once served as governor of the province, followed by his wife, Imelda and now his son, Mohammad Khalid. The Crisis Management Committee will coordinate with Trancso, the provincial government, the milltary within the area and other organizations to address the “economic sabotage” happening in their area.
The CMC, composed of provincial board members Cassan Maquiling, Ubaldo Zamora, former Board Memebers Tawa Caontongan, Mayor Mighty Dimakuta of Tagoloan, TransCo’s Adasa and Abellanosa and Lt. Col. Edwin Respecio of the 32 Infantry Battalion of Philippine Army. Dubbed Task Force Kapiya-an (better development ) the team agreed to conduct medical dental mission, community relations and dialogues.
