2 most wanted in R-12 nabbed in SouthCot

Arrested were murder suspect Rudy Muyco, 51, and rape suspect William Paglinawan, 41, both from South Cotabato.

Supt. Norberto Batislaong, chief of the Regional Investigation and Detection Management Division of the PNP Regional Office No. 12 based in General Santos City, led the arrest of the suspects.

Batislaong, in his report to Chief Supt. Felizardo Serapio, PNP-12 regional director, said the arrests were part of the intensified manhunt operations initiated by their office against wanted persons.

Muyco's warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Renato Tambak of the Regional Trial Court in Lake Sebu town for murder docketed as criminal case number 4678. The suspect is now under the custody of Lake Sebu PNP.

Paglinawan, a farmer from sitio Lampidak, Barangay New Dumangas in T'boli, South Cotabato, was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 26 based in Surrallah, South Cotabato for rape docketed as criminal case 480. (MindaNews)
