Police personnel would also be assigned in churches and procession routes to secure the people who will attend the religious activities.
But the PNP said it does not have additional police personnel for the job of securing the key areas of the city during the Holy Week.
TFD chief Alan Luga said they will place more troops in places of worship and in areas where people gather for the holidays.
"We will increase our personnel at DCOTT also for the expected increase flow of passengers," he added.
He, however, clarified the TFD will "just go on with our normal daily security operations.” (MindaNews)
