Usec Santos on Sulu situation: “We are not hostages”

COTABATO CITY (MindaNews/03 February) – “We are not hostages. We are not being handcuffed. We can still use our cell phones. Our security personnel are still armed,” Peace Process Undersecretary Ramon Santos, a retired Army General, told MindaNews on the phone from Bitan-ag in Panamao, Sulu, where he, Marine Brig. General Benjamin Dolorfino and 23 others have been held by the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) since late Friday afternoon.
