My Late Eulogy for FM: May FOREVER!

You killed my relatives,
Your martial law stole my happy childhood days
Your Army burned hundreds of our houses and mosques.
You put to jail my civilian father for having rebel relatives.
You forced us to fight back as the only option left due to your genocidal campaign against our race.
May your soul continue to suffer in the hell fire forever!

(As a child, Suharto A. Abas of Maguindanao was “very afraid to use my family name” because “soldiers were running after males bearing that family name.” He says his father, a businessman and former municipal councilor, was jailed for two years at the PC Hill in Cotabato City “just because he was suspected to have rebel relatives.” Today, he is working for peace and justice with an organization in the Bangsamoro).
