OUR MARAWI: It is time to let the good maratabat in us reign

MARAWI CITY (MindaNews / 21 Oct) — Bismillahir rahmanir rahim.

Ya Allah, the most Merciful, the Knower of everything, the most Powerful, if it is for our own good, let us go home to Ground Zero.

Ya Allah, I am not pleading to a tyrant man whose heart is a rock, I am not asking anything to your mere slave who is numb, without feelings, conscience, and soul. It is to you Allah, I cry for enlightenment on what all of us here must do so we can please you and allow us once more to go home to Ground Zero and be able to start a new life with your mercy and blessings.

To You alone Allah we bow our heads, for You alone can deliver us from this deliberate, oppressive, devastating and inhuman man-made calamity which shattered our identity, done by a tyrant and his blind followers.

Ya Allah, we ask You not to prolong our agony. Have mercy on the women and children who suffered the most. We plead for your mercy to release us from this ravage.

To a tyrant slave, may the justice of Allah be served in due time.

Nothing is forever. Marcos ruled the country for more than 20 years but he died. His body was refrigerated for so long but ended returning to dust. His soul did not have peace inside his glass coffin.

Mr. President, you are sick, how long will your power last? You are intelligent, use that God-given gift for the good of the people so that your name will not be in vain like that of Marcos. Have mercy on your soul while there is still time.

My Meranaw brothers and sisters, we can rise up with the help of Allah. Why do we have to rely on others? Let us not fail our great grandparents who gave us this land as a legacy. It is time to let the good maratabat in us reign.

Kung di tayo kusang babangon, sino ang babangon sa atin? May hinihintay pa ba? Magdadalawang taon na!
