NAAWAN, Misamis Oriental (MindaNews / 15 Nov) — The Duterte camp’s infuriating noise in frantic jumping from one political party to another and in dispensing of one candidate in favor of another is a desperate effort to grab the limelight, to steal the show and chip at Leni’s advance in the consciousness of the public through the very successful pink caravans nationwide and the display of support from various Filipino communities outside the country.
Expect more inanities and pathetic moves in days to come. For DU30 (President Rodrigo Duterte), however stupid and insulting to the intellect a publicity, it is still good publicity – you remain in the limelight; you are remembered.
We are beguiled with a guessing game on the final administration tandem. In as much as there is no limit on the frequency of candidacy shifting, any of the following may happen:
If BBM (Bongbong Marcos) is not disqualified by Monday, the Bong – Sara (Duterte) tandem remains. (Bong) Go remains the administration candidate, without a VP, to contest BBM. Sara will be adopted as VP of Go. If BBM is disqualified, then it could be Sara-Go or a Duterte-Duterte tandem.
DU30 will not contest his daughter for the VP post. No idiot will do that. He may possibly run, however, for VP if Sara becomes the final bet for the presidency to secure the DDS votes.
Whatever, the bottomless greed for power is nakedly unveiled in this circus, which is making a mockery of our election system.
