Sustained combat operations have resulted in the recovery of several firearms broken into thirteen high-powered and six low-powered firearms from the New People’s Army and one high-powered and four low-powered firearms from the Lawless MILF Groups (LMGs).
Enemy influence has been severely reduced in four fronts including Front Committees 33, 25, 15, and 74 of the Communist Party of the Philippines. In terms of the number of enemy neutralized, four NPAs were killed while two others were apprehended. The unit has also arrested two members of the lawless MILF groups. Other operations have resulted in the capture of two NPAs and two LMGs. A total of seven high-powered firearms and seven low-powered firearms were voluntarily surrendered by these rebels.
Enhanced Civil Military Operations during the period changed the perception and gained the support of the populace in areas where the troops operate through its continuous peace and development efforts.
The Command supported the 52nd Engineer Brigade implement 62 Kalayaan sa Barangay as well as 8 Operational Tempo (OPTEMPO) projects being undertaken by the National Development Support Command of the AFP in conflict-afflicted areas. The projects include market roads, schools, bridges, potable water system facilities, health centers, and electricity. In collaboration with the Office of the presidential Adviser on the Peace Process, the Command caused a total of 35 rebels to return to the folds of the government.
The Command in tandem with the Philippine National Police, other line agencies of the government, local government units, non-government organizations and other community organizations continued to bring essential services and to secure communities, economic activities, vital infrastructures, lines of communications, and flagship projects of PGMA.

According to Major General Reynaldo B Mapagu, Commander of the 10th ID, “Continuous military operations of our soldiers have lessened the atrocities done by the NPA and other lawless group.
“The support of civilians was the key to our success. The general public wants peace and progress, not an armed struggle,” he added.
