Kadayawan dart tourney carries P100-T cash prizes

The event organized by Karaan Darters Association in cooperation with Casino Pilipino and City Government of Davao through City Sports Development Office will feature competitions in Open Draw Triples 501, Fixed Four-Person 701, Open Draw Doubles 501, 18 years old and below Youth Singles 501, Women's Singles 501 and Men's Singles 501.

All events are single knockouts.

The three-day tournament opens at 4:00 p.m with the Open Draw Triples 501 event while the Fixed Four-Person 701 event follows at 9 am and the Open Draw Doubles 501 at 4:00 a.m. on the second day.

The final day includes the Youth Singles 501 and the Women's Singles 501 to be played simultaneously at 9:00 AM followed by the Men's Singles 501 at 1:00 PM.

Sanctioned and co-organized by the National Dart Foundation of the Philippines (NDFP), the tournament carries national ranking championship points in the Women's and Men's Singles events.

Meanwhile, NDFP will launch the Dart Tournament Director Accreditation Program on August 18 at the Pantawan Hall of Casino Filipino Davao, Grand Regal Hotel, according to Tusok Balita, an online Publication of the NDFP.

The training seminar which starts at 10 a.m will focus on bracketing / charting, seeding and tournament organization and management. The seminar registration fee is P250 per participant.

The program, supported by the local dart organizations, not only in Southern Mindanao but also in the whole of Mindanao, is a vision of the NDFP to professionalize and to standardize the management of dart tournaments and dart leagues nationwide. (Rico Biliran/MindaNews)
