Champions League Davao elims open

Defending champs University of Mindanao Wildcats leads the cast along with 2003 winner Holy Cross of Davao College Crusaders,Jose Maria College Kings, Agro Industrial Foundation College Sailors, Rizal Memorial College Bulldogs and Ateneo De Davao University Blue Knights.


UM, led by six-foot-nine Samigue Eman defeated Holy Cross, 100 – 97 in last year's finals to earn the right to represent Mindanao in Cebu City.

Semi-finals are scheduled on Tuesday.

FEU powered by Arwind Santos and Dabawenyo Rj Rizada won the title in the last two years. However, with its recent disbandment the field is now wide open for the national title.
