Sydney Simbajon who fouled out with still 2:10 left in the final period scored 31 points for the Kings who lead the game throughout. After taking a 10 points advantage, 31 – 21 at the end of the first canto, the Kings trade baskets with the Sailors until midway of the pay off period when Boy Fortuna made a back to back three-pointer that keep the Sailors’ hopes alive.
But the Kings employed a sticky defense to pull away with the victory.

Arnel Amoguis added 20 markers for the Kings who trounced the host Holy Cross Crusaders, 79 – 78 to advance in the finals.
