Sailors, Kings score first win in RRD cagefest,

The Sailors sanked Ateneo De Davao University Blue Knights in the main game 83-81 while the Kings edged Holy Child Computer College Reds, 107-95. Jeremy Caminade, who had 9 points, sanked the winning basket for the Sailors.

Blue Knights playmaker Lumanlan had a chance to win the pressure-pack ballgame for his team but his three-pointer attempt came short.

Jenry Curso topscored for the Sailors with 26 points. Center Jay Powao added 12 markers.

The Kings came out strong in the second half to beat the Reds who will next face Holy Cross of Davao College Crusaders. Arnel Amoguis led the charge for the Kings by canning 29 points, mostly from the paint.
