ZAMBOANGA CITY (MindaNews/09 August) – An American national landed behind bars after he was slapped with two criminal cases before two courts in Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported Thursday.
Detained at the detention facility of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte is Jackie Leo Davis, 54, who is temporarily staying in Barangay Baybay, Liloy.
Davis is facing a case of unjust vexation before Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 28 Judge Oscar Tomarong in Liloy and qualified trespass to dwelling before Judge Anthony Isaw of Liloy-Tampilisan Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC), according to Chief Insp. Ariel Huesca, Police Regional Office-9 information officer.
Bail was set at P12,000 for the unjust vexation case and P10,000 for the trespass case.
Huesca said Davis was committed around 3 p.m. Tuesday to the BJMP jail in Liloy town.
The cases stemmed from allegations that Davis arrogantly entered the store of the complainant, Rizalito Pasunting, 52, around 3:20 p.m. Monday in Barangay Baybay, Huesca said.
The American, who was allegedly drunk, lay down on the displayed sala set of Pasunting and later stood up and urinated on a cabinet.
Davis allegedly showed his private part when he saw Pasunting’s 17-year-old daughter and even followed her when she ran towards her bedroom.
The timely arrival of the girl’s father prevented the American from entering the bedroom. (MindaNews)
