ILIGAN CITY (MindaNews / 30 Jan) – Not long after tropical depression “Agaton” caused widespread damaged in many parts of Mindanao, Mindanawons are once again facing another weather disturbance.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the low pressure area found east of Mindanao has now developed into a tropical depression.
In its 11 a.m. weather advisory, the weather bureau said that as of 10 a.m. today, the tropical depression’s center was estimated at 1,140 km east of Mindanao and is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility either this afternoon or evening.
Until then, it is expected “not yet to affect any part of the country,” PAGASA reported.
