SHARIFF AGUAK, Maguindanao (MindaNews/23 March) – Another suspect in the November 23, 2009 massacre of 58 persons, 32 of them media workers, was arrested in his house in Mamasapano, k at around 6 a.m. Saturday.
A composite team from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG). soldiers from the 1st Mechanized Brigade, 45th Infantry Battalion and Philippine National Police (PNP) Maguindanao served the arrest warrant on suspect Kominie Inggo.
The warrant was served following intelligence reports that Inggo was hiding in Barangay Sapakan, Mamasapano, Maguindanao.
Col. Gener del Rosario, commanding officer of the 1st mechanized brigade said Inggo “has a standing warrant of arrest for multiple murder. He was involved in the (Ampatuan) massacre.”
Operatives found an M-14 rifle, and 18 rounds of ammunition.
Inggo was turned over by the military to the CIDG.
