Meanwhile, Aurora Peneda, airport operations head of Philippine Airlines (PAL)-Butuan, told MindaNews there was no information from their head office about cancellation of flights for Caraga tomorrow, Saturday.
The airline flies once daily from Manila to the cities of Butuan and Surigao, and vice versa.
She said the daily flights to Caraga were not cancelled today, Friday.
However, the plane from Manila arrived in Butuan one hour late at around 8:30 a.m., Peneda said.
In this city, a staff of the Danara Travel and Tours said the PAL plane also arrived late. (Roel N. Catoto/MindaNews)
