DAVAO CITY (MindaNews / 10 May) – A two-year old boy died after he was hit by an armored car in San Pedro Street in Davao City on Thursday morning.
Davao City Police Office spokesperson Maria Teresita Gaspan said the victim, Loviegie Tirol Pangantihon, and his mother Angeli were crossing the street at the time.
The car’s right front wheel hit the boy in the head. His remains were brought to Angel Funeral Homes.
The vehicle was driven by Gregorio Antonio Vito Jr., of the Davao Security and Investigation Agency, Inc.
Gaspan said the driver was placed under police custody pending “proper disposition.”
Photos of the incident were circulated on social media on Thursday.
