DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/05 February) – A magnitude 4.0 earthquake hit Davao Occidental on at 12:25 p.m. on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the quake’s epicenter was located 36 kilometers (km) southwest of Sarangani, Davao Occidental.
It said the temblor was of tectonic origin and had a depth of 174 km.
It added no damage or aftershocks are expected. (MindaNews)
