Killed was provincial board member Wenefredo Olofernes.
“I condemn in the strongest possible terms the brual killing of Sangguniang Panlalawiagan Board Member Wenefredo Oloferenes,” Dinagat Governor Arlene “Kaka” Bag-ao said in a press statement.

“I express my sincerest condolences to his family, friends, loved ones, staff, and colleagues in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. We lost a good leader in Dinagat Islands today,” Bag-ao said.
“I, together with the Provincial Government and each and every Dinagatnon, call for justice. We will ensure the speedy resolution of this criminal act along with the prosecution and conviction of all those involved in the death of Board Member Wenefredo Olofernes,” she said. (MindaNews)
