KIDAPAWAN CITY (MindaNews / 24 November) — Just a few hours after 12 business establishments here were razed to the ground, another nine structures, mostly boarding houses were engulfed by fire at around 12:30 a.m., Saturday, City fire marshal Captain Marjorie Resurreccion said.
Resurrecion said the fire started in the boarding house owned by the Gapan family but they have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
The area where the recent fire incident took place was just a few blocks from the Friday dawn fire.
The sites where the two fire incidents happened are public lands and the structures, mostly houses, are owned by those considered to be informal settlers.
